WHO AM I?

Hi, I’m David, a Graphic Designer and Digital Marketer with 12 years of diverse work experience in Creative Design, Digital Marketing and Publishing. I’ve been working as a Graphic Designer both for marketing agencies and hundreds of private businesses from all over Italy. As you can see from my portfolio, I’ve devised and designed the visual identity for dozens of new and upcoming brands. My favourite job is to follow small businesses in their startup phase. Graphic design is my greatest passion, but during the time I’ve evolved to a multi-talented Marketer, with experience in SEO, paid advertisement on Google/Facebook, WordPress, video editing and copywriting.

01 Graphic Design

I am obsessed with using grid system, font pairing and negative space. I’ve been working daily with the following Adobe Creative Cloud software for over 10 years. I have practical knowledge of preparing artwork for print.

02 Web design

I’m skilled in frontend design and development thanks to CMS, visual editors and knowledge of html/css/php as much as needed. Over the years I have designed and built dozens of websites for my clients using WordPress.

03 Video editing

I’ve edited hundreds of videos for clients and personal projects. You can see my editing and directing skills on my Youtube channel.

04 Digital Marketing

I’m visually literate, but always commercially focused. Over the years I have promoted my clients and myself through the major online advertising platforms. Since 2012 I have a personal blog that earns money through Amazon Affiliations. Thanks to this blog I can today also boast a lot of experience in on-page SEO.

05 Copywriting

I have a decade of experience in creative writing as well. I definitely prefer graphic design to writing, but I know that copywriting is a necessary skill to convey the identity of the brands I design in the right way, encourage leads and close sales.

how I ended up in this situation

I started working as an employee at a graphic design agency in 2009.

In late 2012, when I realized the Mayans weren’t right, I decided to strike out on my own.

I worked as a freelance graphic designer in Castiglione del Lago until 2016. Later that year I decided to start my own agency with a partner.

After 2 years working together in Castiglione del Lago we moved our Marketing Agency to the largest city in the region, Perugia.

There we stayed for 2 years, we worked for major clients, and had the opportunity to teach at an educational institution.

We have promoted our creative agency online through videos dedicated to our geographic area, video interviews with many local entrepreneurs, and made dozens of Facebook Live shows like the ones below.

As of September 2021 I’m back to freelancing, and now I’m open to new and interesting projects.
